Soups Junction was established by S.D. Amoako (Stella) in March 2019. It aims to enhance culinary skills and inspire a deeper appreciation for cooking. Stella’s passion for cooking began in her childhood when she assisted her mother with grocery shopping and meal preparation at home.

Stella has developed a collection of traditional Ghanaian soup recipes that are sure to transform your family dinners. These recipes promise a delightful departure from your usual fare—once you try them, you’ll never go back to your old recipes.

If you’re eager to break away from the monotony of the same old soups and are interested in learning how to incorporate fresh ingredients to create tantalizing new dishes, then you’ve found the perfect resource in Soups Junction.

Soups Junction is a website for beginners who have a passion for soup and want to master the art of making traditional Ghanaian soups from scratch.

Soups Junction was officially founded in 2019 by S.D. Amoako. However, the groundwork for this business began as early as 2013 by writing down and developing new and old family recipes.

Soups Junction was born out of a need for additional income to support my family. Facing challenges in finding work, I was inspired to create a platform that not only helped my family but also provided for others who shared a love for soup with the necessary ingredients and recipes to make fresh soup in their own kitchens.

Soups Junction is designed for those who appreciate fresh soup and want to explore new ways to create remarkable soups and enticing dips for their families. The site also includes an eBook that offers a variety of new soup recipes you can easily prepare at home.

Practice is key to making a flavorsome soup. At Soups Junction, we provide all the necessary ingredients and meats to help you master soup-making at home like a pro.

The three types of soup you can explore are:

  1. Tomato soup
  2. Beans soup
  3. Peanut soup

Detailed recipes for these soups are available in our eBooks.

Peanut soup can be enjoyed anytime, but it is particularly satisfying during the morning or afternoon.

All the ingredients you need, complete with pictures, are listed in our eBook to ensure you have everything necessary to start making delicious fresh soups today in your own kitchen.

To thicken your soup, simply increase the amount of each ingredient. For example, if a light soup recipe calls for 1 onion, 1 pepper, and 1 spoonful of peanut butter, doubling these ingredients will result in a thicker soup.

The shelf life of soup in the fridge varies based on its condition, but generally, if the fridge is well-functioning, the soup should last at least two days.

You are free to create any type of soup you desire, including peanut, tomato, or palm nut soup, by learning new recipes and techniques.

In my opinion, any homemade soup can be considered healthy. Choosing the right recipe and meat and following step-by-step instructions are essential for creating a nutritious dish.

Soups aren’t inherently salty; if your soup is too salty, you might have accidentally added too much salt. You can correct this by diluting with water and adjusting the other ingredients.

To make soup, first decide on the type you want to prepare, then gather the necessary ingredients and meats, and follow the step-by-step instructions provided in our recipes.
